Latex mattress is the "in" mattress today. With its numerous health benefits, I don't see the need to use any other type of mattress.
Latex is a semi-firm and semi-bouncy mattress that has been benchmarked as the right mattress for people suffering from back aches and pains and pressure sores. This mattress is slightly softer than the other types of mattress which may not be a good choice if you are already suffering from back pain. It leans more on being a plush mattress. For a back support, you might want to get a latex posturepedic other than this as this will not provide you with adequate back support. Also, heavier couples may have a hard time sleeping on this as it tends to sleep on both sides of the bed.
However, other types of Sealy latex bed models have been receiving good reviews so you might want to choose those rather than this particular product model.
Serta Latex Mattress
Serta has been making the record as always but they pale in comparison to Sealy. However, their latex type mattresses may turn out to be an exception. For one thing, the mattress has a solid construction a stable base double bean foundation.
Some complain about mattress depressions with this brand but that most of them are factory defects. When it comes to giving back relief, it seems like it is doing a good job in this area.
If I were you, I would not limit myself to just Sealy and Serta brand as there are also other brands that specialize in creating latex-type mattresses. The important thing is that you get a reliable brand and you have scouted the market and read reviews as to the best one. Most of the time, it is trial and error and nothing is absolute so you have to look at the bigger picture.
